Lighting candles for or all those killed by the Islamic madness and criminality regime and its guard's Genocide, including those killed in Revolution 2026, 2022, the victims of Flight 752 Ukrainian International Airlines and others. Definitely, these victims are the last series of insanity and crimes of this demonic regime.
At least 36000 massacred within two days by IRGC's Genocide
Iran’s security forces have carried out mass killings of protesters after nationwide protests escalated on January 8, 2026.
The mass killings by Iranian security forces are a stark reminder that rulers who massacre their own people will keep committing atrocities until they are held to account.
UN member states should urgently convene a special session of the UN Human Rights Council to put human rights and accountability in Iran front and center of the international response.
Thousands of protesters and bystanders are believed to have been killed, while the government’s severe restrictions on communications have concealed the true scale of atrocities.
Security forces scaled up their deadly crackdown in a coordinated manner after January 8, resulting in large-scale killings and injuries of protesters and bystanders across the country. Human Rights Watch reviewed evidence that many protesters were killed or injured by gunshot wounds to their heads and torsos. Iranian officials cited in media outlets have admitted that the number of deaths has reached the thousands.

Four months on, the protests have fizzled out amid a growing wave of repression against demonstrators. Four protesters have been executed by the regime; many others fear the same fate. The executions are the culmination of an increasingly violent crackdown including the gunning down of protesters, mass arrests, physical assault and sexual violence. This is a Genocide.
The regime has also doubled down on the repression of dissidents, ethnic minorities and women. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has chalked the protests up to a foreign conspiracy and has called them an “act of treason.”
Almost 20,000 people have been arrested according to activists. More than 500, including dozens of children, have been killed, according to HRANA.
Several young Iranians who lost one or both eyes after security forces fired pellets at their faces, say they do not regret having protested against the regime.
Security forces in Iran use a shotgun shell known as ‘bird shot’ with small metal pellets that is less likely to kill from a distance but can indiscriminately blind people in a crowd. Some protesters who were shot at close range died from the birdshots.
